Alabama football might be keeping things low-key on the recruiting front lately, but things are definitely about to heat up. Kalen DeBoer and the coaching staff are still holding steady with three commits for the 2026 class, but they’ve got some big visits lined up with top-tier prospects.

It’s only a matter of time before Alabama starts picking up elite recruits. The process is still early, with Early Signing Day still about nine months away, but Rivals’ Adam Gorney made some bold predictions for where the top 50 players will end up—and it’s looking good for Bama in a few cases.

The most exciting prediction? 5-star edge rusher Anthony Jones from Mobile, AL. Jones, ranked No. 10 nationally, is expected to commit to the Tide. He’s currently leaning Alabama, but Auburn and a few other schools are still in the mix. It’s shaping up to be an in-state showdown between the Tide and Tigers.

Another Alabama vs. Auburn battle is brewing for wide receiver Cederrian Morgan. Gorney thinks Morgan will lean Auburn for now, but this one’s far from over.

Two More 5-Star Recruits Could Join the Tide

Bama is also in great shape for 5-star running back Ezavier Crowell and 5-star cornerback Jorden Edmonds. Crowell, a local kid from Jackson, AL, has been a priority for the staff, and he’s ranked No. 2 nationally for running backs. Edmonds, considered the best cornerback in the country, has been leaning Alabama for a while. He could be the next big name to commit.

There are plenty of other top-tier recruits still on Alabama’s radar, like athlete Brandon Arrington, cornerback Elbert Hill, safety Jireh Edwards, wide receiver Boobie Feaster, and tight end Kaiden Prothro. And don’t forget about 5-star QB Faizon Brandon, who Bama is trying to flip from Tennessee.

Alabama’s recruiting class is shaping up to be a game-changer, with plenty of talent expected to join the Tide soon.
