Despite the uncertainty, Sanders had a solid college career, throwing for over 7,300 yards and 64 touchdowns. At his recent pro day, he impressed by completing 62 out of 67 passes. It’s still anyone’s guess where he lands, but things are looking unpredictable for the first-round pick.
So, ESPN insider Adam Schefter is predicting that Colorado QB Shedeur Sanders might slide down the NFL Draft in a big way. While most people thought he’d go early, Schefter thinks teams might pass on him, even though there are plenty of QB-needy teams like the Giants sitting at No. 3. He mentioned that Sanders could end up going to New Orleans at No. 9 or Pittsburgh at No. 21. There’s also a chance that teams like the Giants or Cleveland might trade back into the first round to grab him.
