Nick Saban, the legendary Alabama football coach, just got inducted into the 2025 Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame. While he’s known for his six national championships with Alabama, Saban made a huge impact at LSU from 2000 to 2004, even leading them to a national title in 2003. He ended his time at LSU with a solid 48-16 record, including two SEC championships.

This recognition is especially fitting because Saban has strong connections with several of the other 2025 inductees, like Andrew Whitworth and Herb Vincent, who were part of his LSU journey.

Saban’s success with LSU was a major milestone in his career, and now, he’s being honored for it in his home state.
