With the draft just days away, PFF dropped a big one: their custom Top 100 draft board made specifically for the  New York Giants. It’s built off the PFF master board but tailored to fit the Giants’ needs, based on their roster and scheme.

              Offense
– HC/OC: Brian Daboll 
– QB system: Shotgun-heavy 
– Run game: Single-back, split between man and zone blocking 
– Passing personnel: Mostly 11 personnel (1 RB, 1 TE, 3 WR)

           Defense
– DC: Shane Bowen 
– Scheme: 3-4 base, nickel packages, lots of zone coverage 

             Giants’ Draft Needs
– Primary: QB, OG (both man/gap & zone types), Nose Tackle, 3-Tech DT, Center (both zone/man), Y-TE (blocker) 
– Secondary: OT (both gap and zone), X WR, Slot WR, 3-4 DE 
– Ancillary: RB, 3-4 EDGE, MIKE/WILL/SAM LBs, F-TE (receiving), Wide CBs, Coverage Safety 
– No Need: Nickel defender, Box safety 

           Top 5 Players for Giants
1. Cameron Ward (QB)- Top priority 
2. Travis Hunter (CB)-Great, but lower priority 
3. Abdul Carter (EDGE)- Depth piece 
4. Shedeur Sanders (QB)-Another top QB option 
5. Mason Graham (3-Tech DT)-Day 1 starter 

                   Other Notes
– Lots of potential QB options in the top 20 
– Focus on strengthening the defensive line and interior O-line 
– Wide receiver upgrades could come mid-round 
– Multiple rotational defenders at CB, EDGE, and LB positions
