Things got heated fast at Giants OTAs this week.
Just two weeks into offseason workouts, a full-blown fight broke out near the end of Thursday’s practice. It started when edge rusher Brian Burns and offensive tackle James Hudson got into it during a standard 11-on-11 drill. Hudson, who’s been stepping in for the injured Andrew Thomas, and Burns exchanged shoves, which quickly escalated.
Coaches and teammates managed to separate them and pull them off the field, but that didn’t cool things down.
Right after that, tensions boiled over again—this time between Kayvon Thibodeaux and Jermaine Eluemunor. The two clashed on the next play, and Thibodeaux even landed a punch during the scuffle.
So yeah, it’s safe to say the Giants are bringing some serious fire to practice this offseason.
