Giants OTAs End in Chaos After Former Top Pick Throws Down
Before training camp even kicks off, the New York Giants already had some serious drama during their OTA practice. On Thursday, things got heated quick, and the session ended early because a fight broke out right in front of the media.
Here’s the lowdown: Brian Burns and James Hudson started with a little shoving match, which got them both pulled off the field. But that was just the warm-up. On the very next play, Kayvon Thibodeaux ripped off Jermaine Eluemunor’s helmet and threw a punch. That sparked a two-on-two brawl, with Hudson and Burns jumping back in to mix it up.
So yeah, the practice ended early thanks to these linemen going full beast mode on each other.
Fights like this aren’t exactly shocking in football, even between teammates. Usually, they happen later in training camp when guys are in full pads and hitting hard every day. But even during OTAs, where helmets are the only gear, linemen get physical—and apparently, someone crossed a line.
Will this turn into a big drama story? Probably. But for the players involved, it’s likely just another day at the office—unless there’s some secret beef we don’t know about.
