The Detroit Lions are gearing up for one of the toughest slates in the NFL for the 2025 season—and they’re not backing down from the challenge.

Head coach Dan Campbell is embracing what lies ahead, with several road matchups against playoff-caliber teams lined up. The Lions will not only face top-tier competition but will also be featured heavily in primetime slots and nationally televised games. With their rising popularity, Detroit is becoming a team fans and networks want to watch.

A recent ranking by Bookies.com highlights just how entertaining the Lions’ schedule is shaping up to be. In their list of the top 25 most watchable games this season, Detroit had a strong presence—including three road games that cracked the top 10.

Leading the way is their Week 11 clash against the Philadelphia Eagles, landing at No. 7. Not far behind is their Week 3 matchup in Baltimore, which ranks eighth. Then there’s the much-anticipated Week 6 game at Kansas City, sitting at ninth. All three of these opponents are legitimate Super Bowl contenders, adding extra excitement to the showdowns.

In total, eight of the Lions’ games made the list—seven of which are on the road. These include Week 1 at Green Bay (No. 13), Week 10 at Washington (No. 14), Week 15 at Los Angeles (No. 16), and a Christmas Day showdown in Minnesota (No. 23).

The only home game to make the cut? Detroit’s Thanksgiving Day classic against Green Bay, which was ranked 24th.

According to Bill Speros of Bookies.com, each game was ranked “based on its watchability, using an algorithm that factors in NFL betting lines, projected wins, and Super Bowl odds, plus the game day atmosphere/weather, major off-field storylines, and the game’s availability on national TV or streaming service.”

All signs point to an exciting and drama-filled season for the Lions.
