Detroit Lions fans have a unique opportunity to get their hands on playoff tickets while also supporting a great cause.
Holly Campbell, wife of Lions head coach Dan Campbell, and Kathy Agnew, wife of assistant general manager Ray Agnew, are partnering with Downtown Boxing Gym (DBG) to host an auction for playoff tickets. The DBG is a nonprofit organization that works to empower young people in the community through various programs, a cause that both women are passionate about, as they shared in a conversation with FOX 2’s Jennifer Hammond.
Holly and Kathy are donating four pairs of tickets to the upcoming Lions-Commanders Divisional Round playoff game on Saturday evening. Each ticket package includes a parking pass and a DBG hat signed by Lions players. The auction will close at noon on Friday, giving fans a chance to join in on the action while supporting a worthy cause.
In their chat with Hammond, Holly also discussed her now-famous social media posts, which have shown her husband, Dan, in more lighthearted, relatable moments. She explained that despite their public lives, they are just an ordinary family.
In other Lions-related news, NFL.com editors have ranked teams based on their chances of winning the Super Bowl, and the Lions sit at the top—though only by a single point. “Will whatever edge the Lions enjoy now still exist if they get to the Super Bowl and Patrick Mahomes is waiting for them in New Orleans? That might be the question of the year,” the editors mused.
Meanwhile, Kerby Joseph appeared on Up and Adams and shared his thoughts on the Vikings’ struggles in the playoffs. Finally, CBS Sports’ John Breech boldly predicted that the Washington Commanders will defeat the Lions on Saturday, making it to their first NFC title game in over three decades.
