Elgton Jenkins Lands in Top 10 Offensive Linemen for 2025 Execs Say He’s Still Underrated
Elgton Jenkins is quietly turning heads again. The Green Bay Packers’ do-it-all lineman just made ESPN’s Top 10 list of best offensive linemen for 2025, and plenty of coaches and front office folks think he deserves even more love.
Now 29, Jenkins saw his ranking drop to No. 10 last year after once reaching as high as No. 4 in 2023. But after a strong 2024 season, he’s climbing back up and executives are taking notice.
The annual ESPN list is based on votes from coaches, scouts, and execs across the league. Kansas City’s Creed Humphrey took the top spot this year, but Jenkins still made the cut. And what really makes him stand out? His versatility.
Jenkins has pretty much played everywhere on the line. He came into the league as a guard, jumped over to left tackle when Bakhtiari went down, had a stint at right tackle, and mostly stuck to left guard last season. Now in 2025, he’s expected to take over at center.
Some in the league think that change won’t hurt his standing one bit in fact, it might even raise it.
One NFL coordinator summed it up perfectly:
“The guy is so underrated. Can play anywhere, tough, physical, smart.”
With Josh Myers now in New York, the Packers are banking on Jenkins to slide into the center role. GM Brian Gutekunst is fully on board, saying back in March that Jenkins has the tools to be an “All-Pro center.”
“He’s a luxury,” Gutekunst said. “He can play all five spots. I’m excited to see what he can do at center.”
Time will tell how Jenkins adjusts to the new role, but based on what we’ve seen, don’t bet against him climbing that Top 10 list even further.
