Adrian Peterson’s son, Adrian Peterson Jr., is already turning heads with his viral highlight videos, and Sooner fans are starting to wonder if he could follow in his legendary dad’s footsteps at Oklahoma one day.
Even though he’s just in seventh grade (part of the 2030 class), the kid’s got some serious talent—and it’s clear the apple didn’t fall far from the tree. His dad posted a couple of videos on Instagram, and they quickly blew up on social media.
Adrian Peterson Jr. is definitely making waves early on, and even though he’s got big shoes to fill—following in the footsteps of one of the greatest running backs ever—he’s already showing signs that he’s got what it takes. Who knows, maybe OU coach Brent Venables will be sending an offer sooner rather than later!
And while Adrian Peterson Jr. is still a ways away from hitting the field in college (2029 or later), his little brother, Nelson Peterson Jr., is already starting to make a name for himself as a four-star quarterback in the 2026 class.
