Brook Hill’s Minter Signs with the Mets
Former Brook Hill standout A.J. Minter is heading to the New York Mets! According to MLB.com, he’s locked in a two-year deal worth $22 million, with an opt-out option after the 2025 season.
Minter had a solid 2024 season, making 39 appearances, with a 5-4 record, a 2.62 ERA, and 35 strikeouts over 34 1/3 innings. He was especially sharp toward the end, giving up just three runs in his last 19 games.
Unfortunately, his season was cut short in August due to hip surgery. Minter’s been with the Atlanta Braves since debuting in 2017, but now he’s taking his talents to New York.
