Jalen Hurts Leads Eagles to Super Bowl, Sets NFL Record
Jalen Hurts made history yesterday, leading the Philadelphia Eagles to a 55-23 win over the Washington Commanders in the NFC Championship Game. With three touchdown runs, Hurts set the NFL career record for rushing touchdowns by a quarterback in the playoffs, boosting his total to nine in eight postseason games.
Hurts also became the first player in NFL history to have multiple games with at least one passing touchdown and three rushing touchdowns in a playoff game. The Eagles dominated the game, with Hurts rushing for three touchdowns and passing for another.
Philadelphia will play the winner of the AFC Championship Game between the Buffalo Bills and Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX at 5:30 p.m. CST Feb. 9 at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans.
