New York City FC’s 2025 home kit has been leaked, giving fans a first glimpse of the team’s new design. Although the leaked images are of low quality, they reveal a predominantly sky-blue shirt with some color variations.
At first glance, the kit doesn’t immediately scream “skyscrapers,” but it’s likely that the team will reveal a more intricate connection to the city’s iconic skyline when the jersey is formally unveiled.
The leaked images make it difficult to appreciate the finer details of the kit, and fans will have to wait until the team’s official reveal to see how the jersey looks on the players.
Interestingly, the new badge revealed by NYCFC during the 2024 season does not appear on the leaked images of the 2025 home kit. According to reports, this is due to production timing, as work on the new jersey was already underway when the club finalized its new crest.
The wait to see the new badge on a jersey will extend to 2026, when the team is expected to unveil its new away kit.
The new home kit will be worn during the 2025 and 2026 seasons, as is customary for MLS teams, which typically keep their kits in use for two complete seasons.
Meanwhile, the black 24/7 Kit that debuted last season will stick around for 2025 but will be replaced for the 2026 season.
Looking ahead, NYCFC will move into their new Etihad Park home in 2027, and fans can expect a brand-new home jersey to coincide with the team’s new stadium.
For now, the leaked images of the 2025 home kit are generating buzz among fans, who are eager to see the team’s new design up close.
