Former Alabama football quarterback Jalen Milroe had multiple signature games during his time as the starter. However, the game he wants NFL teams to note ahead of the NFL Draft is not one of his most impressive victories.
Milroe mentioned the game against South Florida on Sept. 16, 2023, as the one he would want NFL scouts to study. In that game, Milroe was benched after a loss to Texas, and Tyler Buchner got the start.
Milroe believes this game showcases his growth and leadership skills. He led the Crimson Tide to a 24-10 victory over Ole Miss the following week, completing 17 of 21 passes for 225 yards and one touchdown.
“The thing that I’ve tried to highlight is, if I didn’t have the proper mindset, the proper preparation, I wouldn’t have been able to bounce back,” Milroe said. “It’s just the growth aspect going from Texas to Ole Miss.”
