Detroit Lions fans are still grappling with the sting of last month’s unexpected playoff loss at Ford Field. The divisional-round upset left a bitter taste, making it hard for some to fully embrace Super Bowl weekend.

Super Bowl LIX is just around the corner at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, with the Kansas City Chiefs taking on the Philadelphia Eagles — a rematch of their showdown two years ago.

The Lions seemed poised for a deep postseason run after finishing the regular season 15-2, locking down the NFC’s top seed, and winning their second consecutive division title. Despite battling injuries, many believed this was their year to finally make it to the Super Bowl.

But instead, Detroit’s season ended a week earlier than anticipated with a frustrating loss to the No. 6 seed Washington Commanders. Washington didn’t fare well either, getting crushed by the Eagles in the NFC Championship Game.

Now, with Super Bowl Sunday on the horizon, MLive wants to hear from Lions fans. Have you moved past the playoff disappointment? Will you be watching the game, or does the heartbreak still linger? And whether you’re tuning in or not, what’s your prediction for the score? Most importantly, what do you think it will take for the Lions to finally break through and reach the big game?
