Maxx Crosby Trade Buzz: Lions, Packers Emerge as Suitors
As the offseason heats up, rumors surrounding Maxx Crosby’s potential trade have intensified, with the Detroit Lions and Green Bay Packers emerging as two of the most likely suitors. The Las Vegas Raiders pass rusher has hinted at the possibility of requesting a trade after expressing frustration in a recent interview. While the Raiders are moving forward under head coach Pete Carroll, Crosby’s future with the team is uncertain.
For the Lions, who struggled with defensive depth in the 2024 season, including a secondary riddled with injuries and the loss of Aidan Hutchinson to a season-ending injury, acquiring Crosby would significantly bolster their pass rush. Although it may just be speculation, Crosby’s recent tweet supporting the Detroit Pistons has only fueled the trade rumors further.

While the Lions have more draft capital and a pressing need for defensive help, they’ll face stiff competition from other teams eager to make a move for one of the league’s top defensive talents. Whether Detroit will make the move depends on how much they are willing to give up to secure Crosby’s services.
