Former NFL General Manager Mike Tannenbaum predicts that the Detroit Lions will land Myles Garrett, the star defensive end from the Cleveland Browns. Tannenbaum believes the Lions are in a prime position to contend for a Super Bowl, and Garrett could be the key piece to take them over the top.
Garrett, who requested a trade from the Browns earlier this month, would bring immense value to the Lions. He’s a three-time First-Team All-Pro and has averaged 49.6 tackles, 16.8 tackles for loss, and 14.4 sacks over the last five seasons.
The Lions, who went 15-2 last season, are looking to bolster their defense, particularly their pass-rushing capabilities. With Garrett on board, they would have one of the most formidable pass-rushing duos in the league, alongside Aidan Hutchinson.
While the Browns have expressed no interest in trading Garrett, Tannenbaum thinks a deal could be possible if Cleveland decides to rebuild.
