Liam Gallagher’s Response to Oasis’ Hall of Fame 2025 Nomination

Liam Gallagher has reacted in his usual blunt style to Oasis being nominated for the 2025 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. The 52-year-old singer, known for his no-nonsense attitude, didn’t hold back on Twitter when he expressed his true feelings about the honor. While the nomination is typically seen as a prestigious accolade, Liam dismissed it as “for WANKERS,” showing just how little he cares about the Hall of Fame itself.

However, when a fan asked what he would do if Oasis actually made the cut, Liam couldn’t resist joking about it. “Obv go and say it’s the best thing EVER,” he quipped, adding that he’d pick up the award and give a sarcastic speech thanking “all of the GODS starting with MYSELF.” True to his form, he doubled down, explaining that while he thinks the Hall of Fame is for “wankers,” it’s okay to embrace that label every once in a while because, as he put it, “it’s good for the soul.”

Liam’s tweets didn’t stop there. In his final message, he humorously told fans, “Just don’t vote ya SPUNKBUBBLE you fucking stupid,” in his signature cheeky style. Despite his dismissive attitude toward the Hall of Fame, it’s clear that if Oasis does get inducted, Liam would show up to collect the award, embracing the honor with his typical mix of sarcasm and ego.

In true Liam fashion, it’s not about the recognition—it’s about doing things on his own terms and having a laugh while doing it. So, whether Oasis gets inducted or not, the outspoken frontman has made it clear he won’t be losing any sleep over it.
