Vote for the Detroit Lions’ 2024 Breakout Player of the Year!

With the NFL season now behind us, it’s time to reflect on the Detroit Lions’ 2024 campaign and recognize some of the team’s standout performances. Welcome to the Pride of Detroit Awards—or, as we considered calling them, the PODies (though that sounds a bit too much like “potties,” so let’s skip that).

Over the next two weeks, our staff will be picking winners in 10 different award categories, but ultimately, your vote decides who takes home the honor. We’ll do our best to sway your opinion, but don’t forget to scroll down and cast your ballot.

Breakout Player of the Year Nominees

  • Jahmyr Gibbs – A strong rookie season set expectations high, but Gibbs truly cemented himself as an elite running back in 2024. When David Montgomery went down in Week 15, he stepped up, delivering four consecutive 100-yard rushing games.
  • Jameson Williams – After a rocky start to his career, Williams silenced the doubters in 2024. He surpassed 1,000 yards and became a dynamic offensive weapon.
  • Jack Campbell – Stepping into a key linebacker role, Campbell became a stabilizing force for Detroit’s defense, leading the team with 131 tackles.
  • Al-Quadin Muhammad – Despite joining midseason, Muhammad made an impact, recording three sacks and 24 pressures in just nine games.
  • Amik Robertson – Originally overlooked, Robertson earned a starting role and delivered clutch performances, including shutting down Justin Jefferson in Week 18.
