Detroit’s Draft Blueprint: A 3-Round Mock to Kick Off Combine Week

Here’s a pre-NFL Combine 3-round 2025 mock draft for the Detroit Lions:

Round 1, Pick 14:
Peter Skoronski, OT, Northwestern

The Lions need to address their offensive line, and Skoronski is one of the top tackle prospects in the draft. He’s a technically sound blocker with excellent footwork and hand placement.

Round 2, Pick 45:
Cameron Smith, LB, USC

Detroit’s linebacking corps could use an upgrade, and Smith is a versatile defender who can play both inside and outside. He’s a tackling machine with excellent instincts and range.

Round 3, Pick 76:
Ricky Stromberg, C, Arkansas

The Lions need to find a long-term solution at center, and Stromberg is one of the top interior line prospects in the draft. He’s a physical blocker with excellent strength and athleticism.
