The Detroit Lions have emerged as a potential suitor for Los Angeles Chargers star defensive end Joey Bosa, according to Bleacher Report’s Gary Davenport. With an already formidable defense, the Lions could take their pass rush to the next level by acquiring the four-time Pro Bowler in a low-cost trade.

Davenport suggests that Detroit should offer a 2025 fourth-round draft pick in exchange for Bosa. Given the star edge rusher’s talent, this would be a bargain compared to the trade value of other elite pass rushers like Myles Garrett or Maxx Crosby.

Financially, this trade also makes sense for Detroit. Bosa is entering the final year of his contract, meaning the Lions wouldn’t be locked into a long-term commitment unless they choose to rework his deal.
