Detroit Lions Address Controversy Over Revoked Season Tickets

The Detroit Lions have been revoking season tickets from fans who they say are violating their ticket policy by reselling them. One of those affected, Paul Jan Gorzelewski, took to Instagram to voice his frustration, saying he had been reselling extra tickets for years to help cover travel costs but was only now facing consequences.

The Lions’ official stance is that the accounts in question were primarily used for resale, which goes against their policy of tickets being for personal use. The team says it has already reinstated some accounts on a case-by-case basis, but those not reinstated will have their tickets reallocated to fans on the waitlist.

For longtime fans who supported the team through rough seasons, this move feels like a sudden shift now that demand is high. The Lions maintain that their priority is ensuring real fans get access to tickets. Those who feel their tickets were unfairly revoked are encouraged to contact the team directly.
