Bills’ Dion Dawkins Takes a Shot at Chiefs’ Super Bowl Performance
Buffalo Bills left tackle Dion Dawkins had some thoughts after watching the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX, and he didn’t hold back.
Speaking on The Pivot Podcast with Ryan Clark, Dawkins admitted that after losing the AFC Championship to Kansas City, he quickly accepted the defeat. But after watching the Chiefs struggle against the Eagles, he couldn’t help but think: We would have put on a better show.
Dawkins doubled down, saying, We are the raws—we put on the best show. While he acknowledged that the Chiefs fairly beat the Bills, he insisted Buffalo would have had a better chance against Philadelphia.
Of course, talk is cheap. The Chiefs have consistently eliminated the Bills in the playoffs, including four times since Dawkins entered the league. And while Buffalo hasn’t been to a Super Bowl since 1994, Kansas City has been there five times in the last six years.
With both teams still among the AFC’s best, there’s a good chance this rivalry continues in 2025. But until the Bills can get past the Chiefs, Dawkins’ words won’t mean much.
