Auburn and Alabama are set for a heated rematch as they close out their regular-season campaigns. Auburn, ranked No. 1, sits at 27-3 overall and 15-2 in SEC play, while No. 7 Alabama is 23-7 with a 12-5 conference record.
Their last matchup was a thriller, with Auburn narrowly edging out Alabama. Since then, Alabama has been on fire, winning 14 of its last 16 games. The Crimson Tide boast the nation’s top-scoring offense, averaging 90.5 points per game, and dominate the boards, ranking third in rebounding with 44.2 per game.
Mark Sears has been Alabama’s key playmaker, averaging 17.8 points and 4.9 assists, while Grant Nelson is a force inside, contributing 12.7 points and 8.1 rebounds. However, Alabama’s defense has been shaky, giving up 78.5 points per game, which could be a problem against Auburn.
