The team has agreed to a three-year, $25.5 million extension with linebacker Derrick Barnes. This move solidifies Barnes’ position with the Lions.
Additionally, the Lions have re-signed defensive tackle D.J. Reader to a two-year deal worth up to $27.25 million, including $9 million in guarantees.
The team has also brought back lineman Dan Skipper on a one-year deal.
In other news, the Lions have been linked to several free agents, including wide receivers Jakobi Meyers, Allen Lazard, and Darius Slayton. The team is looking to add depth to its wide receiver corps.
