Lions Cornerback Kindle Vildor Signs with Buccaneers
After a brief stint in Detroit, cornerback Kindle Vildor is heading to Tampa Bay on a one-year deal. Best remembered by Lions fans for an unfortunate deflected pass in the NFC Championship loss to the 49ers, Vildor now gets a fresh start with the Buccaneers.
Despite criticism for that costly moment, the 27-year-old had solid stretches in Aaron Glenn’s defense, recording 16 tackles in 2024. He’ll provide depth in Tampa’s secondary while contributing on special teams. His deal is a veteran salary benefit contract worth $1.17 million, counting just $1.03 million against the cap.
