The Detroit Lions have agreed to a deal with former Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Mason Rudolph. Rudolph, who has also played for the Steelers, will serve as a veteran backup to Jared Goff.
Rudolph’s career has seen him start 17 games, with a 5-11-1 record, and throw for 4,785 yards, 24 touchdowns, and 17 interceptions. His experience will provide a reliable option for the Lions.
The addition of Rudolph gives the Lions a seasoned quarterback to support Goff and develop younger talent.
