NFL Roster Moves: Notable Transactions from March 14, 2025

Minor NFL Transactions: Lions Add Depth at Tight End
The Detroit Lions made a small but notable move in NFL free agency, signing tight end Kenny Yeboah to a one-year deal. The former New York Jets tight end joins a Lions team that already boasts Sam LaPorta and Brock Wright as its top options.

Yeboah, 26, has spent most of his career as a depth piece and special teams contributor. With James Mitchell now in Carolina and Shane Zylstra still a free agent, he’ll have a chance to compete for a rotational role.

This signing is part of a busy start to free agency across the NFL, with teams making under-the-radar moves to build out their depth charts.
