Lions Add TE Kenny Yeboah to Bolster Depth
The Detroit Lions are adding to their tight end group, signing free agent Kenny Yeboah to a one-year deal, per reports from Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press.
Yeboah, 26, spent the past four seasons with the New York Jets, appearing in 33 games. While primarily used as a special teams contributor and depth piece, he has nine career catches for 111 yards and one touchdown.
With Sam LaPorta and Brock Wright firmly in place, Yeboah will compete for the No. 3 tight end spot, filling a role left open after James Mitchell’s departure to Carolina.
