Top Remaining Free Agent OLBs the Lions Should Target

Should the Lions Take a Chance on Azeez Ojulari?
The Detroit Lions have been quiet on the edge rusher market in free agency, opting to bring back Marcus Davenport on a one-year deal despite his injury history. But with Za’Darius Smith released, could Azeez Ojulari be a fit in Detroit?

Ojulari, 24, is a former second-round pick with 22 career sacks and 37 QB hits in four seasons. He logged six sacks in 11 games last year with the New York Giants. While he has a solid pass-rushing upside, his struggles in run defense (60.1 PFF grade) and tackling (30.6 PFF grade) raise concerns.

Health is also a factor—Ojulari has battled toe, ankle, and hamstring injuries, missing time over the past few seasons. That could be a red flag for a Lions coaching staff that prioritizes durability and run defense.

Would you take a flier on Ojulari, or should Detroit look elsewhere for pass-rush help?
