Lions OT Giovanni Manu Impresses in Offseason Training
Detroit Lions offensive tackle Giovanni Manu is putting in the work this offseason. The 2024 third-round pick spent his rookie season as a developmental player, but recent workout footage suggests he’s making significant strides.
Manu has been training at OLP Performance in Arizona, a premier facility for offensive linemen founded by former NFL player LeCharles Bentley. A newly released video highlights his improved footwork and agility, a promising sign as he competes for the Lions’ swing tackle spot in 2025. With Kevin Zeitler’s departure, Detroit could also revisit the idea of moving Manu inside to guard.
