Avonte Maddox’s Partner Shares Heartwarming Prediction About His Move to Lions
When word got out that Avonte Maddox was parting ways with the Philadelphia Eagles to join the Detroit Lions, it felt like the end of a meaningful chapter for both him and the fans in Philly.
Maddox, a former fourth-round draft pick from the University of Pittsburgh, had spent his entire NFL career in Philadelphia. Even after being released last year, he made his way back to the Eagles on a new deal and contributed in key moments, including a crucial play during the Super Bowl. “I told Avonte the beginning of last season that I knew he’d end up at the Lions next season,” Williams wrote. “He looked at me like I was crazy because out of all the teams in the NFL how could I be so sure.”
As it turns out, her belief wasn’t just a random guess. She explained that her prediction came from a place of intuition and love — believing Detroit would be the right place for them.
“Honestly, I was sure because I knew it would be best for us and when I say something’s going to happen and I believe it fully, 9x out of 10 it happens. Yes I have super powers,” she added.
