Giants Set to Tackle Offensive Woes With a 4-Phase Overhaul

The New York Giants have spent free agency beefing up their defense, adding key players like cornerback Paulson Adebo and safety Jevon Holland. But when it comes to fixing their struggling offense, they’re expected to go all-in during the 2025 NFL Draft.

According to Pro Football Network’s Ben Rolfe, the Giants will use their first four picks on offense—including a trade-up—to revamp their attack. The centerpiece of this plan? Quarterback Shedeur Sanders.

Step 1: Shedeur Sanders Takes Over at QB

Rolfe predicts the Giants will draft Shedeur Sanders with the No. 3 overall pick, giving them a new franchise quarterback to replace Daniel Jones. He describes Sanders as a safe and polished prospect compared to other high-upside QBs in the draft.

Step 2 & 3: Bolstering the Offensive Line

To protect their new QB, the Giants are expected to double-dip on offensive linemen:

Grey Zabel (G, North Dakota State) at No. 34 – A versatile lineman who can play multiple positions, though he’s likely to settle at guard.

Cameron Williams (OT, Texas) at No. 55 (via trade-up) – A powerful tackle with starting experience at right tackle, which fits the Giants’ current needs.

Step 4: Adding a Tight End Weapon

At pick No. 99, the Giants are projected to select Gunnar Helm (TE, Texas). With Theo Johnson recovering from foot surgery, Helm would provide depth and could contribute as both a blocker and a pass-catcher.

By following this four-part draft plan, the Giants could reshape their offense and finally turn things around in 2025. If it all plays out like this, Big Blue’s offense might finally start clicking.
