Aaron Donald was one of the most dominant defensive linemen during his time with the Los Angeles Rams, and was a focal point of the team that won the Super Bowl in 2022.
Seemingly unstoppable regardless of his opponent, he was an elite run stopper, pass rusher, and did everything the team needed of him to win.
He has been going viral on social media with recent workouts with young Rams defender Jared Verse, and now is receiving incredible honors by the NFL and the Rams.
On the Rams’ Sunday Night Football matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on November 23, they will be doing a special #99 bobblehead giveaway to honor Donald’s career.
For the first 60,000 fans in attendance at SoFi Stadium, they will receive the limited-edition Donald bobblehead upon entry.
A recognition ceremony will also be held at halftime.
In just ten years in the NFL—all with the Rams—Donald won Defensive Player of the Year three times, tied for the most ever with J.J. Watt and Lawrence Taylor.
With no active players currently holding more than one, that record could stand for years.
Donald’s impact on the Rams franchise includes a team-leading 111 sacks.
If his mentorship of Jared Verse becomes a long-term effort, Donald’s legacy may continue in the next generation of Rams stars.
