Alabama wide receiver Germie Bernard is sticking with the Crimson Tide for the 2025 season! He spilled the news to ESPN on Wednesday, saying he’s staying to graduate and help lead the team to something big.
Bernard transferred to Alabama from Washington after coach Kalen DeBoer made the same move before the 2024 season. He took some time to think about entering the NFL Draft but ultimately decided to stay in Tuscaloosa.
“With the guys coming back and the new faces joining, I just feel like this season is my chance to step up as a leader,” Bernard said. “I really think we can go far this year.”
Bernard had a stellar 2024 season, leading the team with 50 catches for 794 yards and two touchdowns over 13 games. Before that, he caught 34 passes for 419 yards and two touchdowns at Washington in 2023, following his 2022 season at Michigan State.
Looks like Bernard is all in for another run with the Tide!
