Alabama’s recruiting momentum is at a fever pitch, with “Summer Reign” in full swing as the Crimson Tide continues stacking elite talent for the 2026 class.
Between June 22 and July 2, Alabama secured commitments from 10 prospects, including two five-star recruits who announced their decisions live on the 247Sports YouTube channel, where Bama247 was also on hand for coverage.
Those headliners included Cederian Morgan, the No. 1 player in Alabama and a five-star wide receiver, who called his commitment a dream come true. Meanwhile, quarterback commit Jett Thomalla reflected on his recent flip during Elite 11 week, noting he always knew he’d end up with the Tide.
After the surge, Alabama now boasts 17 commitments for the 2026 class, climbing to No. 6 in the latest 247Sports Team Rankings. Head coach Kalen DeBoer, GM Courtney Morgan, and the Crimson Tide staff are showing no signs of slowing down as they look to build on the No. 4 overall class they signed in 2025.
The excitement isn’t over yet. Two more top targets are set to make their announcements this holiday weekend, with decisions expected Friday and Saturday afternoon—potentially adding even more fireworks to Alabama’s explosive recruiting run.
