Alouettes’ Archibald Ready for Revenge Game vs. Former Lions Team

Montreal Alouettes defensive lineman Joshua Archibald can’t hide his excitement as he prepares to square off against his old squad, the B.C. Lions. After battling injuries last season, Archibald says he finally feels 100% healthy—and he’s eager to show what he can do.

“It feels amazing to be back at full strength,” Archibald said this week. “I’ve been looking forward to this matchup since the schedule came out.”

Archibald spent time with the Lions earlier in his career but never fully settled in before joining the Alouettes. Now, with his body healed and confidence soaring, he’s determined to make an impact on the field against familiar faces.

The Alouettes hope Archibald’s energy and inside knowledge of the Lions’ system can give them an edge as they chase an early-season win. For Archibald, the chance to face his former team healthy and ready to contribute is all the motivation he needs.
