Amon-Ra St. Brown has fully established himself as an elite red zone threat, capping off back-to-back dominant seasons for the Detroit Lions.
In his first two seasons, St. Brown was highly involved in the red zone but had some tough luck finishing drives. In 2022, he was tackled inside the five-yard line seven times, limiting his touchdown total to six despite ranking seventh in red zone targets (21). That changed in 2023 when he racked up 10 touchdowns, proving he could be a go-to scorer for the Lions.
Then came 2024, where St. Brown took his red zone production to another level. He set a career-high with 12 touchdown receptions, nine of which came inside the red zone. He led the NFL with 23 red zone receptions and was among the top three in targets (31), yards (152), and touchdowns (9). His 34.8% share of the Lions’ red zone targets ranked third in the league, showing just how much Detroit leaned on him in scoring situations.
After bursting onto the scene with a 100-catch, 1,100-yard campaign in 2022, St. Brown needed to add more touchdowns to his resume to solidify his place among the NFL’s best receivers. Now, with consecutive double-digit touchdown seasons, there’s no doubt—he’s a certified red zone beast and one of the most dangerous weapons in the league.
