Amon-Ra St. Brown hasn’t been making a ton of noise this offseason, but when he does talk, Lions fans listen. During a recent media appearance, the star wide receiver dropped a line that pretty much sums up where this team’s head is at right now:
“For us, it’s Super Bowl or nothing.”
No fluff, no dancing around it — just straight-up facts. That’s the kind of energy fans want heading into 2025. After falling short last season (and let’s be honest, injuries on defense didn’t help), the Lions are bringing back most of their core and aiming for one thing: finishing the job.
And they know the clock is ticking. With guys like Jameson Williams, Aidan Hutchinson, Jahmyr Gibbs, Sam LaPorta, and Brian Branch all on rookie deals for now, the window is wide open — but it won’t stay that way forever. A big payday is coming for a lot of those names, and Detroit probably won’t be able to keep everyone.
That’s why the next year or two are huge. Right now, the Lions are getting top-tier production at bargain prices. If they’re going to make that Super Bowl run, now’s the time.
There’s been a few bumps already — Malcolm Rodriguez and Alim McNeill are expected to miss time, and Alex Anzalone still hasn’t shown up at OTAs while he recovers from a broken forearm — but nothing too alarming so far. The good news? Aidan Hutchinson is back and ready to go.
So yeah, “Super Bowl or nothing” sounds about right. Let’s see if the Lions can finally bring it home.
