Amon-Ra St. Brown Shares His Most Memorable NFL Play
Amon-Ra St. Brown has already built a highlight reel of clutch plays in his young career, but one stands out above the rest.
During a recent episode of the St. Brown podcast, the Detroit Lions wide receiver revealed that his favorite play came in his rookie season—a game-winning touchdown against the Minnesota Vikings with no time left on the clock. It was the Lions’ first victory of the season, making it even more special.
Adding to the moment’s significance, the game came just days after the tragic Oxford High School shooting. The Lions honored the victims, wearing the school’s logo on their helmets, and St. Brown recalled meeting students from Oxford before the game.
“That was just a crazy time in Michigan,” St. Brown said. “I feel like after that play, everything took off for me.”
Since then, the former fourth-round pick has become an All-Pro and one of the most reliable targets in the league, forming a strong connection with Jared Goff and helping lead the Lions to playoff success.
