Amon-Ra St. Brown Urges Myles Garrett to Sign with Detroit Lions

Amon-Ra St. Brown Has a Bold Suggestion for the Lions’ Offseason Moves

The Detroit Lions are quickly becoming a team that expects to make the playoffs and contend for a Super Bowl each season. But after two disappointing early playoff exits, fans are eagerly waiting for the front office to make the moves that could push them over the top.

On the latest edition of “The St. Brown” podcast, Amon-Ra St. Brown had some thoughts on what the Lions need to do this offseason. He specifically mentioned how general manager Brad Holmes could make a huge splash by trading for Cleveland Browns star defensive end Myles Garrett.

In a conversation with his brother, St. Brown acknowledged the importance of injuries in the past season but emphasized how a dominant defensive line could be the game-changer. “If you have a defensive line that’s nasty, you don’t need any corners. You don’t need anything. Just play off. Just play it off,” he said, hinting that the right moves on defense could fix a lot of problems.

St. Brown is also aware of the buzz around Los Angeles Rams wideout Cooper Kupp being available in trade talks. While he recognizes Kupp’s talent, he made it clear that the Lions’ priority should be bolstering the defense. When asked about adding another offensive weapon like Kupp to the already talented Lions offense, St. Brown shot down the idea. Instead, he stressed that the defense needs to be the focus if Detroit wants to be a true Super Bowl contender.

So, Lions fans, what do you think? Would Myles Garrett make Detroit’s defense a force to be reckoned with? Or should they focus on other areas to balance the team before making a move for another star?
