Amon-Ra St. Brown is never shy when it comes to confidence, and he just put the target squarely on Detroit’s back heading into the 2025 season. During an appearance on Kevin Hart’s “Cold as Balls,” the Pro Bowl wideout didn’t hold back—he wants the Lions to open the season by taking on the defending Super Bowl champion Eagles in Philly.
No dancing around it. “We want to win the Super Bowl,” St. Brown said, before doubling down on wanting to see the Eagles in Week 1—preferably with a fully healthy Lions defense.
St. Brown’s been vocal about missing out on a potential NFC Championship clash with Philly after Detroit fell short against Washington. With the Lions already scheduled to visit the Eagles at some point this year, his comments could fuel momentum for what would be a blockbuster season opener.
