Angry Demonstrators Take Over DC to Slam Trump, Musk, and Israel’s Actions in Gaza

Massive Protests Flood D.C. Over Trump, Musk, and Gaza Conflict

Thousands of people hit the streets of Washington, D.C., and other cities on Saturday to protest President Trump, Elon Musk, and the ongoing war in Gaza. It was part of the National March on Washington for Palestine, where more than 200 groups came together, calling for a permanent ceasefire and a stop to U.S. weapons shipments to Israel. This marked the biggest protest yet against the current administration.

Since the Israel-Hamas ceasefire fell apart in mid-March, over 1,200 Palestinians have been killed in Gaza   including kids   as airstrikes hit shelters, hospitals, and homes, according to Al Jazeera.

But it wasn’t just about Gaza. Protesters were also fired up about federal budget cuts, new tariffs, the detention of undocumented immigrants and activists, and Musk’s growing influence in politics. Over 1,200 “Hands Off!” rallies were organized across the U.S. and even abroad.

While all this was going down, President Trump was out golfing in Florida, competing in his country club’s senior championship. According to Bloomberg, he won his match and is moving on to the finals.
