Anthony Edwards bounced back from a scary injury and scored 28 points to lead the Minnesota Timberwolves to a 105-90 win over the Brooklyn Nets on Thursday night, securing their fourth straight victory. Edwards had to leave the game briefly in the second quarter after stepping on the foot of Nets coach Jordi Fernandez while making a 3-pointer. Luckily, it wasn’t serious, and he returned for the second half.

Rudy Gobert contributed 21 points, shooting 9-for-10 and grabbing 18 rebounds. For the Nets, Nic Claxton scored 18 points, and Dariq Whitehead added 17.

The Timberwolves took control of the game in the second quarter, going up 49-37 by halftime, with Edwards leading the way with 15 points in the first half. Minnesota struggled a bit with their 3-point shooting, hitting just 31% (13 out of 42), but Edwards was solid, making 5 of 10 from beyond the arc.

Up next, the Timberwolves head to Philadelphia to play the 76ers on Saturday, while the Nets will host the Toronto Raptors on Sunday.
