Another day, another wild headline involving Antonio Brown — and this time, it includes police, gunshots, and a celebrity boxing match.
Over the weekend, Brown made headlines after a chaotic scene at a boxing event hosted by popular streamer Adin Ross in Miami. Video clips quickly went viral showing Brown running from the venue, with what appeared to be a gun in his hand, followed by the sound of gunfire.
But according to Brown, he wasn’t the one causing trouble — he says he was the target.
In a post on social media, the former NFL star said he was attacked by a group of people who tried to rob him and do him harm. Brown claims he was briefly detained by police while they sorted out what happened, but he was not arrested and went home that same night.
“I was jumped by multiple individuals who tried to steal my jewelry and cause physical harm to me,” Brown wrote. “Police temporarily detained me until they received my side of the story… I went home that night and was not arrested.”
He also made it clear that he plans to press charges against the individuals involved.
The event, already buzzing online due to Ross’s huge following, quickly became a trending topic once footage of the incident hit social media. Some attendees backed Brown’s story, saying he was attacked. At this point, no injuries have been reported, and authorities haven’t confirmed if anyone else was detained.
Brown even returned to Adin Ross’s livestream later that night, appearing a bit shaken, but physically fine.
For now, it’s unclear how the situation will develop legally — but Brown insists he was the victim, not the aggressor.
Just another dramatic turn in what’s been a rollercoaster of a post-NFL life for Antonio Brown.
