As the 2025 NFL Draft nears, the Giants are under the spotlight with all eyes on what they’ll do about their quarterback situation. While Colorado QB Shedeur Sanders has been a popular pick, he might be off the board by the time the Giants draft at No. 3. Even if he’s still available, they might go in a different direction.

In the latest mock draft by Paul Schwartz from the New York Post, the Giants surprise by selecting Travis Hunter, a cornerback/wide receiver from Colorado, instead of a quarterback with their first pick. Then, with their second-round pick (No. 34 overall), they grab Ole Miss QB Jaxson Dart.

Dart, who threw for over 4,200 yards and 29 touchdowns in his senior year, could be a solid pick, though some experts view him as the third-best QB in a weak class. The Giants may even need to trade up to secure him, as there’s a chance he won’t be available when they pick.
