Andy Isaac, the beloved Detroit sports personality known as @WorldofIsaac on social media, has shared a heartbreaking message with his followers, revealing that he is entering hospice care after a 19-year battle with cancer.

“Sadly, this is probably one of my last,” Isaac wrote in an emotional post on X. “Having cancer since 2006 has finally taken its toll on me. It has finally stripped me of quality of life. I have decided on hospice care. Life has been a struggle these last few months and years. I hope I can find some peace in hospice.”

Isaac, a lifelong Detroit sports fan, built a strong online presence through his humor, passion, and unwavering support for the Lions, Pistons, Tigers, Red Wings, and Michigan State. Since 2009, he has posted nearly 50,000 times, covering the ups and downs of his favorite teams while connecting with thousands of fellow fans.

His final message was filled with gratitude and reflection:

“I hope I gave you all a positive outlook on life. I hope I made even the smallest impact. Be kind to each other. I love you all. Truly, I do.”
