Big Blue Breakthrough Giants Get Promising QB News

While everyone’s been buzzing about where Aaron Rodgers will land for the 2025 NFL season, another veteran QB is still up for grabs—Russell Wilson. After a so-so season with the Pittsburgh Steelers, the 10-time Pro Bowler is exploring his options, and it looks like he’s leaning toward the New York Giants.

According to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler, Wilson sees the Giants as a better fit than the Steelers. On SportsCenter, Fowler explained that Rodgers has offers from both Pittsburgh and New York, so he holds all the cards. Meanwhile, the Steelers have Wilson as a backup plan but aren’t in a rush to make a move.

Wilson isn’t quite the superstar he was during his Seattle Seahawks days, but he still led the Steelers to the playoffs last season, throwing for 2,482 yards and 16 touchdowns. The Giants may not have a loaded offense, but they do have rising star Malik Nabers, who had an impressive rookie season with 109 catches, 1,204 yards, and seven touchdowns. Plus, with the No. 3 pick in the upcoming draft, they could snag a young QB to learn under Wilson (or Rodgers).

So, will Wilson suit up in Giants blue next season? Time will tell, but it’s looking like a real possibility.
