Big, Fast, and Tough: Giants Host 4 NFL Hopefuls Ahead of Draft

Giants Check Out Four Big-Time Prospects Before the NFL Draft

With the 2025 NFL Draft getting close, the New York Giants are stepping up their scouting game. On Friday, they brought in four standout prospects    all fast, physical, and packed with potential.

These aren’t just random names either. We’re talking about a possible top-three pick, a hard-hitting running back, a super versatile offensive lineman, and a tough defensive tackle. All four could be key pieces to help rebuild a Giants team still in need of some serious muscle up front.

Abdul Carter: The Star of the Show
Penn State’s Abdul Carter was the headliner. This guy’s a beast    66 pressures and 13 sacks last season. He’s quick, hits hard, and has future All-Pro written all over him. If the Giants stick with defense at pick No. 3, Carter might be their guy. He’d join Kayvon Thibodeaux, Brian Burns, and Dexter Lawrence to create a terrifying pass rush    something this team’s been missing since the glory days.

Cam Skattebo: Tough, Old-School Running Back
From Arizona State, Cam Skattebo is a throwback    the kind of running back who fights for every yard and loves contact. He racked up 1,712 yards and 21 touchdowns last year, averaging nearly six yards a carry. Yeah, he fumbled a few times, but his toughness and vision make him a great option for those gritty, short-yardage plays. Pair him with rookie Tyrone Tracy, and you’ve got a powerful speed-and-strength combo.

    Donovan Jackson: The Do-It-All Lineman
Ohio State’s Donovan Jackson might’ve flown under the radar, but he’s a valuable piece. At 6’4”, 320 pounds, he played both left guard and left tackle last season and only gave up two sacks. Smart and solid, he could fill multiple spots on the line    a nice insurance policy and future starter option with the Giants’ second-round pick.

Alfred Collins: Solid in the Trenches
Texas defensive lineman Alfred Collins isn’t flashy, but he’s reliable. Standing at 6’5”, 320 pounds, he’s strong, holds his ground, and makes tackles    just what the Giants need next to Dexter Lawrence. He finished last year with 38 tackles and 18 pressures while barely missing a tackle all season. The Giants have been missing a steady DT2 for a while, and Collins could finally be that guy.

Bottom line    the Giants aren’t just kicking tires. They’re putting together the blueprint for what could be a game-changing draft class.
