Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff is about to kick off a huge NFL season — but he just scored an even bigger W off the field.
Goff and his wife, Christen Harper, announced the birth of their baby girl, Romy Isabelle, on July 15. They shared the news with a sweet post on Instagram, complete with newborn pics and maternity shots.
This is the couple’s first child, and it’s been a big year for them — they tied the knot last June, and revealed they were expecting back in February.
Goff’s been pumped about becoming a dad. “I can’t wait to watch her be a mom,” he said on the NFL Honors red carpet earlier this year. Christen, just as excited, added, “He’s going to be the best dad.”
So while Goff’s got his eyes on a playoff run with the Lions, he’s also got a brand new teammate at home. Diapers first, touchdowns later.
